topic new Material, for Ductwork in Fabrication CADmep Forum

I have created a new Material, for Ductwork (I am using Fabrication CADmep 2020), however I can not seem to make any piece of Duct the new Material. When I double click the piece of Duct and go to the Item tab, only Galvanized is optional. I have created the new material, so that I can alter it in Revit, so if there is a better way let me know, because I want the colors of the material to be exported when I export to Navisworks.

Have you checked if a specification is assigned to the item. If it is, the material will be stuck to whatever the spec is set to.

I’m not sure of how you could set a material to a specification. I have added a few screen shots. The 1st one is of the material that I created the second is of the dialog box that comes up when you double click it, Galvanized is the only option.
