    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am a new user and i don't know how to make this work. I am trying to use design line to input socket weld fittings with welds. Can you set this up somehow? Can you add a connector to the pipe to give you a weld gap for these fittings and how? There has to be a better way than doing this manually by stretching the pipe back for the weld gap and the inserting the weld.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Set your connectors up so that a small weld(its own itm) needs to be put in.&amp;nbsp; If you have a buttweld service in your database it should be doing the same.&amp;nbsp; Essential what you're doing is forcing the connectivity to put another piece (weld) in to connect up.&amp;nbsp; Or you can just adjust the connectors breakpoints to get you the gap you are looking for.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The way we set this up is to have all of your pipes and fittings as Male and the welds as female, that way it forces the weld to show up. we even set up a WN/BW weld itm and a SW itm for the different weld parameters. The only issue I'm having now is getting a coupling to show up when we "optimize lengths", as it just throws a weld in there instead.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
