topic Weld Gaps in Fabrication CADmep Forum

I went to folders and modified the shop weld to 0.0625. This is OK, but the problem is when I insert the weld. The weld will not match the size of the pipe. I have to type in the size every time.

I would be very interested to hear what people have to say about this. I seem to even be struggling on where you setup the weld gap for auto insert? It works in the OOTB service, which is great but I would like to know where this is setup.

-DM

This is done through connectivity, your pipe connectors should be Male, and the weld connectors should be Female. They also need to be in the connectivity group.

Sounds like you probably changed the wrong value. Your weld should have a Product List that contains all the relevant sizes. You will need to change the length of the weld in the Product List.
