topic Dark Theme issue of "Autodesk Inventor API Help" (CHM-file) in Windows 11 in Inventor Programming - iLogic, Macros, AddIns & Apprentice

I'm not sure this forum is the right place to ask such questions ... anyway:

I prefer Dark Theme for all software I use.

I don't always use Visual Studio when working with Inventor API.
Most of the time I do some fast-testing of my ideas by means of temporary external iLogic rule that I develop with Notepad++ (NPP). NPP got most of it's power through Plugins, and one of my favorite NPP Plugins is "Language Help". Being properly setup it allows to open "Autodesk Inventor API Help" (admapi_27_0.chm) from context of the particular code keyword according to file extension (in my case *.iLogicVB) ...not ideal but better than nothing.

Unfortunately I got an issue of customizing Inventor API CHM file's text background color on my new PC with Windows 11 (which I don't suffer on my old PC with Win 10).
On Windows 10 I used to customize "Internet Options..." (set of system settings that is also available from the "Options" drop-down present on the ribbon of Help browser). This was a partial* workaround as doesn't applied to navigation pane.
but ...
...for some reason changing "background" color on Windows 11 don't have any effect to CHM anymore (background stays pure white)!
I can only guess that the issue is somehow related to the retirement** of Internet Explorer.

Any Ideas on how to set dark/black background color while browsing Autodesk Inventor API Help (CHM) file on Windows 11?
Maybe the desired can be achieved installing some 3rd party Help browser?

*
I would definitely prefer the "Autodesk Inventor API Help" file itself got the built-in Dark/Light-Theme toggle button alike in AutoHotkey Help:

.. but with nowaday's Autodesk service this seems like unreachable dream.

**

According to updated data - IE seems be still present in Win 11 (see www.theverge.com/tldr/2022/8/3/23290171/how-to-use-internet-explorer-windows-11-why-microsoft-why)
