Rendering

Hey guys,

Do you know whether I can change CPU rendering to GPU rendering ? Also, if there is someone willing to teach me more about rendering I'd be more than happy to listen. Because of my lack of knowledge I think I overburden the projects with unecessarey settings when I might not need all of those.

Thank you.

Intel I7 4770 3.4Ghz, Nvidia GTX 770 4GB Jetstream, 16GB RAM.

Just about any project that renders with Photometric lights and the Autodesk materials (or Arch & Design) will work on the GPU with the Iray renderer built into Max. You just need enough memory for the scene to fit into the card. Your GTX is a good size for most scenes.

You may need to make some adjustments in materials, as there are a few things here and there that may not be supported, or need to be adjusted. Give it a try!
