Maya 2014 won't install

Hello, i have a student version of maya 2013 on my old pc. I have just bought a new one. Also my school upgraded from maya 2013 to maya 2014. I log in, try to install maya 2014 student version. The installer starts, but then after 8 mins its stops and says faild. With red x's by the software tabs. Em i able to download maya 2014 student version, knowing i have already download maya 2013 but on a old pc.

Yes you can download Maya 2014 regardless if you have downloaded Maya 2013 or not. If you are unable to download/install Maya 2014 from Education Community, then try the download from our Virtual Agent (click on Download Links, choose product and version). I noticed you have already received the serial number and product key for Maya 2014 so you can just use them for activation.
