AAF conform from Avid MC 8.3 hanging system

Hi,
I'm attempting to conform an hour long, 1080/50i timeline, cut on Media Composer 8.3, into Flame Premium 2015 Ext 3 SP1.
The AAF will generate a timeline but once I attempt to it conform Flame locks out. I can still move the cursor but Flame won't respond to input. I can still use the OS and other programs on the workstation.
The media is on two GRaid drives. I've tried connecting via USB and Firewire but get the same problem. I've tried conforming to the original camera rushes and to consolidated DNX185X media.
I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.
