Training Editions on a Mac with Smoke installed

Any issues with installing one of the training editions of Flare or Flame Assist on a Mac which has Smoke 2015 Desktop Subscription installed?

Hi,

Training editions cannot be installed on the same partition than commercial editions.

In your case, you will have to install the training edition on a different partition.

Thank you for the quick response!  One more question, and I'm assuming I know the answer, but need someone who knows to weigh in.  Is seperate media storage required as well?  In other words, is it not a good idea to use the media storage currentlly housing Smoke material to also house Flame material?

Hi,

No.

Both commercial and training editions can share the same Media Storage as long as they are running from 2 different partitions.
