MAP 3D SHP file - Object Data permanently inserted as basic text....

Hello, I have imported a SHP file using _MAPIMPORT and created object data. I then queried the current drawing through Add Drawing Data and added a text style for, in this case, the lot numbers. They show up exactly how i want them displayed. The issue is that I need to make them part of the current drawing as regular text, and not be associated with the original polygons. I am unable to copy the data, and if i explode or burst the polygons, the lot text disappears. Anyone have a solution?

You have several ways to do it:

1. Connect to the Shape File, then show the data by styling the Shape file, then you can use "Label to Text" command (see the picture) to convert all labels into MText

2. I supose you are using Annotation to create the blocks with the Polygons Data. You can rename the Annotation Blocks. Simple write Rename in the command line and give a new name for the Annotation Block without the word "annotation". Then explode the attributes of the blocka with the Command Explode Attributes at the Express Tools Ribbon
