Bone moves out of position slightly during rotation (Max File Attached)

Hi guys,

I am trying to animate part of a steam and engine and have used bones to control the position of the parts on the moving arm.

On first inspection the animation looks fine but if you look closely the IK solved bone moves slightly off posotion during the rotation. This results in a little judder when animated.

If you zoom in at frames 17, 18, and 19 you will see the bone move away slightly from the ik chain point thingy.

The IK solver is linked to the eccentric hub which as far as i can tell rotates perfectly

I just can work out whats going wrong

Any help would be appreciated.

Its ok, worked it out

Changed "Thresholds" "Position " value to zero and now it works fine

Typically, the smaller the scene scale the lower the Position Threshold has to be, keep that in mind for the future. Also, if you're using a two bone IK chain as in your case, try the IK Limb solver, it's faster than the HIIK solver.
