My 3dx maxx won't install? help!

When I try to install any version of 3dx maxx, it will go through the whole installation stage and than say it didn't install correctly.

Do you have a firewall enabled through virus protection like Avast or Norton? Whenever I try the latest version of 3DS Max or Maya they tend to keep me from installing those programs correctly. If you do, I would disable the firewall temporarily until your finished installing the program.
