Error In Event Viewer

Getting thiws error in the Event Viewer when I close Max 2015:

3dsmax.exe
   17.0.630.0
   530eae0d
   MSVCR110.dll
   11.0.51106.1
   5098826e
   c0000409
   00000000000740c4
   2164
   01cf597063fc0daa
   C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2015\3dsmax.exe
   C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCR110.dll
   b92ced1d-c563-11e3-81e6-3085a99423ee

The only thing I came up with was people having a problem with the file (missing MSVCR110.dll ) not allowing a program to start, not causing an error on closing a program.

I am not getting an error saying that it's missing.

I downloaded the updated file from Microsoft and the first time I closed Max no audio that an error occurred, but after that it went back to as before.

This error does seem to be affecting Max while it's open and anything that I have found, just makes the error sound when I close Max.

From having a look myself it seems the error pops up in a lot of scenarios.

The only case of it being resolved, that I found, was when the user updated their Intel HD onboard graphics driver (On the LuxRender boards).

It also seems to plague the BattleField 4 crowd.

Some suggestions were; To update .NET, reinstall Flash, update graphics drivers, update Java...etc..

I also found this handy app: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/appcrashview.zip

I wouldn't know it was happening here if I didn't hear the audio that accompanies it.

Guess I'm not worried about it, but will report it when I find the appropriate link.

Thanks, Steve.

Man, they really need to update their form if they are going to ask for system specs, their options are way old.

It's not updated for Max 2015, either.

Think I'll check back later to see if they do upgrade the form or it's just left in it's present stage.

It always takes a while for them to add the new versions. Just make it clear in the description that it relates to 2015. Or wait 😉

Hey Dongray,

I am having this exact same problem on two machines with clean installs.

Would be grateful to anyone who can shed light on this.

Cheers,

John

I had a consistent problem on both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, I get a Runtime Error from 3ds Max 2015 with the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

I get a System Error sound, and about 1 out of 10 times, I get the dialog box to appear and it says, R6025 - pure virtual function call

I dont know if this info helps at all.  I submitted a bug report for it a long time ago and we've had two SPs since and it hasn't been fixed.

I hope it is resolved in the 2016 release.

Indeed,

I've spent several weeks searching for a solution and have not found one.

I have the issue on two seperate machines which have Windows 8.1 Pro and 3ds Max Design 2015 installed.

I have un-installed and re-installed multiple versions of the visual studio redistributables, delted ENU folders and .ini files and nothing has changed.

Every time I close the application I get the same crash (details earlier in this thread, BEX64, MSVCR100.dll etc)

I find it hard to believe that Autodesk cannot reproduce this and would gladly sacrifice some time to assist anyone from Autodek who would be prepared to dig in a little here.

Thanks for any additional info,

John
