Asign Shortcut to - Manage Scene States

Hi Guys,

I would like to apply ashortcut to Scene States Manage Scene States, instead of going up to Tools > Manage Scene States.

I am unable to find it in the customise UI for keyboard shortcuts. Surely I am missing something.

I would appreciate any guidance on this!

Thanks,

The Action is "Scene State Manager Dialog Toggle" (as far as I can tell anyway), but I can't get it to work - tried different key combos in several Max versions.

Yes, I did try that, and wanted double check on this forum to make sure I am not the only one.

I hope this will get fixed soon as I am starting to find it very usefull.

Thanks for reply!

Make sure you report the problem (Help > Speak Back > Report a Problem). If they don't know about it they can't fix it.

Hi Steve,

I sure will, however I can't seam to find > Speak Back, from help page. I quickly searched "report a problem" and found this page - http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=1109794  - I will just submit it here for now.

Thanks again,

The Help Menu, not the actual Help, or because you didn't tell us which version you're using so the current version (2016) is assumed and, as you can see, the information was correct (for 2016). Previous versions had the Report a Problem item on the main Help menu, even earlier ones didn't have that option at all.

The "Contact us" link you provided is not the correct one for reporting problems. The correct one is http://www.autodesk.com/3dsmax-DefectSubmission or http://download.autodesk.com/us/support/report_a_bug.html?SelProduct=3dsMax which is the same place the Report a Problem link takes you to.
