Hallo everybody,

does anyone know how to deal with the VRED renderpasses?
I'm trying to combine the passes to get back the beauty pass, but I just don't get it.
Maybe someone has a solution or a example *.psd.

hey,

thank you schuete, but this video tutorial just shows how to activate the render passes.

After 2 days try and error I found a solution:

To get the beauty pass you need to render the passes in a hdr file format, eg. hdr, exr or tiff (for last you have to activate hdr format in your preferences).
Now I can reconstruct the rendered image in photoshop.

yes, you always need to render to a HDR format.
