Locked Layer Color Fade

Please Help. I want to change the setting for locked layers to not "fade". I would like for the color of a locked layer to appear "bright" and not fade away making it hard to see. I've exhausted my searching in the system and can't figure out were to change the setting.

check out the system variable LAYLOCKFADECTL

set to 0 and there's no fading

You can set it up to 90, looks like the default is 50% faded.

thanks.
Now that you gave that info. I actually remember doing that command about 1.5 to 2 years ago, but due to a coumputer problem I i had to reload CAD on my computer so I lost all my preferences and settings.

Yeah, the stuff you normally only set once gets pushed to the back of
the mind by the things you do more frequently. :-)

It would be nice if you could export all of your variable settings to a text
file to save for reference.
