Best way from Autocad 2013 to javascript interactive 3d models

I have a client who recently asked me to build a website with an online sales catalog, for his furniture.

He would like his clients to be able to view his products in interactive 3d, as part of a cart.

Since he already uses Autocad to make 3d renderings of his products I'm wondering what the simplest path to go from his 3d Autocad designs, to 3d models:

- that can be viewed on the web without the use of a plugin, except for Java and javascript

- that let clients interact with them, in order to change their colors, their size and manipulate as well as move around the objects with their mouse

- that are compatible with all modern browsers, not just the one or or two of the cutting edge absolute latest version that almost no one has...

- that can also be viewed on portable devices, providing they are powerfull enough (iPhones, Samsungs and such).

Did you find a solution for this?

AutoCAD provides a DWFx file format for viewing with web browsers.

What cannot be done with this file format is changing colors.
