About lighting units and fog effect

Hi there.

When I discovered the Environment setting and particularly the fog effect, it took some time to exercise, but the results were very strange: the fog rendered from gray to black, whatever color was assigned to it. Until I changed the lighting units to Generic. Now the fog was OK! The book "Lighting in AutoCAD", "AutoCAD 2014 Rendering - Revealed!" and some others also heavily recommended to use International system in every possible situation, but I found nowhere any description of this effect with fog. Now I have a question: should Generic system always be used when working with exteriors? Or only when fog is needed? Isn´t there some contradiction between these recommendations? Or is there some trick to bypass this behavior?

Do you render in a camera view? or in perspective?

Sometimes when you render in perspective you have some issues.
