Set layout tab current such that tab's color changes as if user picked it.

(command "layout" "Set" "MyTab")

(setvar "ctab" "MyTab")

What about active X?
I've tried these but have been unseccessful.

The purpose is running in a script for purposes of BenchMarking.
I'd like the observer to be able to see the current tabs change.

Any ideas?

Those both work for me, at least when pasting them to the Command: line and changing the tab name. They're not even case-sensitive as I thought they might be. [But I haven't put them into a Script to try them that way.]
