My 2 cents on this whole web-based forum thing

I find this rather hilarious.

At the bottom of the screen is a little "Powered by Lithium" icon.

I'll save you a click, check out their forum:

Same forum engine.

Not sure I get your point.

It stands to reason that a developer of forum software would use their own forum software for their own forums...

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure what he was spending his $0.02 on either.

In this economy I think I'll just save my $0.02.

sorry, I thought it was pretty clearly obvious that one is clear to read, includes the first line of the post, and pretty much improves on every complaint people have had about this new system.  I just find it ironic that Autodesk found a way to take a very nice forum engine and make it nearly painful to use.

Maybe you are doing something wrong. Works just fine for me. No pains at all.

Maybe you were referring to the 6th post in this thread?
http://lithosphere.lithium.com/t5/Social-CRM-Virtual-Summit/Webcast-4-Best-Practices-Bill-Johnston-F... ,specifically the third paragraph of that post...?

This "thread" is a tangled mess. Can't tell who's replying to what, unless a lot of quoting is done. This really points out how this forum is lacking, compared to the NG (and other web forums). (Another $.02 worth)
