Model View from Block using VLISP or DXF

HI, I'm trying to create something great that seems quite straight forward.

I want a routine that extracts an attribute and verticies for each instance of a selected block and creates a model view based on those inputs. This is my first attempt at a VLISP app, and I know there is a lot missing, so I'll explain the logic I have behind my idea.

Let's say there's a drawing populated with a block that has multiple visibility states for differnt size viewports and an attribute to label its sheet number. Once they are laid out, you run this app and it prompts you to select the "viewport block" that is placed. The app extracts the block name, and for each instance it extracts the attribute name (sheet number) and verticies of the extents for the viewport. You will need to add the insertion point and scale the vertices, so that will have to be extracted as well. The app will then run the VIEW command to make a model view with the extracted data from each block.

I tried with VLISP and DXF and failed on each. I need your help; thanks!
