Mleader txt color by layer

I want to change the mtext of all mleaders to be color by layer. strip mtext does not seem to do this. Nor does anything else i have found. Any ideas?

Hi Michael,

Try the attached file. It uses the working function from StripMtext, but I made it work with MLeaders.

It doesn't seem to work. Attached is a test file. Maybe i am doing something wrong. But i ran that script you provided and it didn't seem to do anything

Sorry, I'm not sure what is causing your MLeader text to be yellow, rather than bylayer. It's not in the text string (DXF code 304). DXF code 93 is supposedly related to text color, but it doesn't appear to do anything.
