If you have ever tried the Gbound program from Tovna.com, you know it generates high quality closed polylines at
lightning speed from any linework (not xreffed stuff though). And at $300, its the most expensive one command add-on we
have and its still worth it.
As I understand it, the prog uses the acad geometric engine to do things so fast.
Can anyone comment on what can be done with the geometric engine and how to access it? I am guessing there is an API of
some sort that will resolve closed shapes and a lot more.
I have done a lot of lisp and VB, but no C programs. I am guessing you have to program in C to access the geometric
engine since it seems to run so fast.
