Lisp routine with script file & dialog boxes

I am writing a lisp routine the calls  a script file to process multiple drawings. I am trying to use  a dialog box the let the user decide if to stop the routine or to continue. I am having trouble stopping the script file, I tried calling another script file but autocad stops running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't branch a running script with user inputs.  Instead of mixing methods, I recommend investigating ObjectDBX for processing the file contents.
