How to remove layer in xref

Hi Alls,
Anyone have a code to remove alls layer in xref object, and the remain
it,only layer 0.
After finish I should get data like this,it mean that xref object would name
file as "6M12.dwg",contain only layer 0.
Select objects:

BLOCK REFERENCE Layer: "0"
Space: Model space
Handle = A3
"6M12"
External reference
at point, X= 743.8466 Y= 110.9656 Z= 0.0000
X scale factor 1.0000
Y scale factor 1.0000
rotation angle 0
Z scale factor 1.0000

Open the XRef and change all the objects to layer 0.

Personally, I cannot see the advantage to doing this.

That is a poor reason to alter an XRef's objects. What happens if you XRef
an older drawing from your own firm? Are you going to destroy its layer
standards to satisfy yourself? You might not have a job for long.

Just get used to XRef layers showing with the name, a pipe symbol (|), and
the layer name.

If the XRef layer names are appearing at the top of list, and that is really
what is annoying you, just rename the reference name (not the XRef drawing
filename). That is called "aliasing" the XRef and is easy to do. For
instance, we often rename the architect's XRef to "Z-Plan", so that it sorts
to the bottom of the layer list.

Or you can manually set the inverted layer filter for XRefs.
