How to keep information after the Reset procedure?

During installation of my app some information is recorded in the following Windows Registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\RXX.X\ACAD-YYYY:ZZZ. The problem is that this entry is removed (renovated) during the AutoCAD reset procedure. So, my question is: is it possible somehow keep recorded information in this Registry entry after renovation?

This doesn't qualify as a AutoLISP solution but couldn't you just export the registry branch via Regedit.exe to a .reg file then re-apply after the reset proceedure.
