how to get 3d parallel projection background color?

I can get the paperspace or modelspace background color from the preferences object, but do not see anything for the
more exotic 3D modes you find in options. Can these be read or written programatically?

Have you tried looking through the ACAD_VISUALSTYLE dictionary? It might
get you somewhere. I haven't tried though.
