Getangle with two getpoints

I thought this could do it:

 (setq rotate1 (getpoint))
 (setq rotate2 (getpoint))
 (setq ang (getangle rotate1 rotate2))
 (princ ang)

Or this:

 (setq rotate1 (getpoint))
 (setq rotate2 (getpoint))
 (setq ang (getangle "(rotate1 rotate2)))
 (princ ang)

Or this:

 (setq rotate1 (getpoint))
 (setq rotate2 (getpoint))
(setq ang (getangle (list rotate1 rotate2)))
 (princ ang)

Do I have to do the trig calculations?

Thanks

KP

(setq ang (angle rotate1 rotate2))
