Generating DWG file from text data

Hello there,

I wanna to create a tool wherein which the input is text data(.txt format) and i'm expecting a automatic generation of layout in .dwg format.

Can anyone help me out on approach should I consider?

You should create a LISP tool that reads the .txt file and uses the information to create objects in your current AutoCAD drawing.

Expecting to draw what ? Points, lines.... Civil 3D, Survey program can do that ( read text files)
