Extracting and Importing Data

I have attributes with blocks in a drawing. Using Express Tools menu
"Exporting Attribute Imformation" I can select all in the drawing and it
will create a txt file. When I open the txt file in Excel, modify the
info and save it, I use the express tool "Import Attribute Information.
when I go check the attributes they did not update. Does anyone know
of a way to make this happen.

Thanks
ED

hey there,
the one thing you have to watch is that each item in the header line of the spread sheet matches the attribute tag value. You also need to export that spreadsheet into a tab delimited text file before importing back into the drawing.
hope that helps

thanks for responding. It was saved as a tad delimited text file. I
have even tried erasing some of the info and then updating the drawing.
The info stay on the drawing even though it is not on the excel sheet
