Extended Entity Data Lost in files?

Just recently I have noticed a Major problem occuring with Xdata.  My programs that i use XDATA storage in work fine until you save the drawing.  When you call the file back up the Xdata is gone the only thing in the xdata is NameSpace value.  Is this related somehow to a Windows update?  This is a MAJOR problem.  Please help and thanks in advance.

A few specifics would help: version, save method, xdata specifics (type, how attached, to what attached), a sample drawing or a process to repeat the defect.

Plus, where they were suposed to be stored. Could be still on a server, somewhere. .

Storage is cheap now.

We kept local copies, in the event of the loss of the network, and made the effort to track the dwg versions.

If you post a dwg, try ot make it small, without reactors, preferably 2000.
