Export & Import Data

I have attributes with blocks in a drawing. Using Express Tools menu
"Exporting Attribute Information" I can select all in the drawing and it
will create a txt file. When I open the txt file in Excel,modify the
info and save it to a delimited format txt. I use the express tool
"Import Attribute Information. when I go check the attributes they did
not update. Does anyone know of a way to make this happen.
