Errors when opening drawings seems to be related to lisp routines

So when I open a drawing a get this error everytime and have to escape a few times to get by it.  Hopefully someone can tell me what to delete to stop it from happening I assume it is some lisp routine but can't figure out which to remove.  I don't need it to create layers or anyting I just want it to stop hahahaha

Open Autocad then type appload -> contents -> Then select the routine that you want to stop being loadded everytime

cad opens .

And this might help you .

Good Luck .

WIsh it did thats the weird thing there is nothing in the startup suite.

I can't even get mditabs to stay there have to load it each time

Still get the errors each time and I have to set my profile each time too.

I am using 2011MEP I used to use just AUTOCAD not sure if that could affect this

Those "Whatever loaded" messages look like the result of things being loaded by acad.lsp or acaddoc.lsp, or perhaps some version-specific acadXXXX.lsp, or a .mnl file associated with your menu file.  The layer creations are surely being done by the same file(s) as the loadings of routines.

If you can figure which file that is, and open it, at least you could start by looking at whatever is in it/them prior to something like (load "C:ASCPOINT"), which would at least narrow down the probable source(s) of the three error message in the above-quoted excerpt.  You will probably need to run down all the things that it loads and does, and compare them to the Command:-line echoing, to find where the problems lie.  If you put semicolons at the beginnings of lines of code to "comment them out," you can compare the echoing with those functions not being loaded, those layers not being made, etc.

so i DELETED C:ASCPOINT; ac_bonus; among others still same deal without the ascopoint error.

Is there anyway to find out which file it could be?

Maybe unload all lisp's from my cui then reload one at a time to see which one casues the error.  Going to take awhile seeings as how there are a lot of lisps.

I don't use half of them

I would guess that it is not ASCPOINT that's causing errors, because it looks like that's loading normally.  It would need to be something (or some things) that is (are) loaded before that, causing those error message that come before its loaded message.  And similarly, the error message afterwards are probably from other things, some of which may be loading problems, and some of which may be just direct functions within the file that's also loading stuff from other files.

Search the Support File Search Path location(s) listed in the Files tab of Options, for files with names like those listed in my earlier reply.  Presumably you will find some file(s) like those, with some lines in them that look like:

(load "C:ASCPOINT")

(command "_.layer" "n" .....

I have my lisp folders referenced in support files.  But no single .lsp files just folders containing tons of lisp routines

But only those that are run automatically whenever you start AutoCAD or open a drawing or load a menu file are worth looking at, initially.  They're the ones with names like acaddoc.lsp, acad.lsp, acadXXXX.lsp, or YourMenuFileName.mnl.  They're the ones that might be loading other routines, and they'll be doing it in a particular order, so you can compare their sequence with the messages you're getting, and presumably find what files they're loading at the points where errors are reported.  That should narrow down the "tons" to a manageable number.  You can then load those independently to see whether you get the same errors, and if so, look into those files in more depth.  Or, if they're things you don't use, remove the lines that load those from the automatically-run files.

That's not to say that your 2011MEP might not be causing the troubles, or some of them.  Whatever it may be doing could well be inaccessible to you.  But looking for those other possible sources could eliminate many other possibilities, and if nothing turns up there, perhaps at least narrow it down to MEP as the likely culprit.
