Thanks

I can't do a video, but the attached drawing (Acad2004) shows the stages with simple notes that you could translate.

Look, have you tried the manual method - it doesn't take that long once you have the base viewport set up.

A lisp will only save a few seconds each time you need to create 'sub-views' so unless you plan to use this several times every day, it is not even worth the time to write a lisp.

While you have been waiting for someone to write a lisp for you, you could have tried and used the manual method - it is not difficult.

You don't need a lisp to create the sectionalised and subsequently composite views.

In paperspace using the overall viewport from which you need to make your sectionalised set of views (having set it up using MVIEW) you COPY the viewport on top of itself the same number of times you need a diferent piece of the whole.

Then, you click/select on the viewport (only one - which will be the last copy) and then click on each of the appropriate corners to make the selection of the specific part of the underlying part of modelspace.

You repeat that with each of the other copies by ensuring that you select the next one by clicking away from the last adjusted viewport, on any of the remaining copies, creating a different viewport area with each one.

When you have all your viewports covering the sections of the modelspace that you require, you simply do what the video demonstrated by selecting them and moving to a new part of you paperspace and aligning them to suit what you wish to print/plot.

Hope this helps
