Create linetype from shape file

I know this is possible but for some reason I can't get it to do right. I have created a shape and now I'm wanting to make a linetype of just this shape. Could someone please help me? Attached is the shx file I created from express tools.

It's all in Help / Customization Guide / Custom Linetypes / Shapes in Custom Linetypes. Check that out, and come back if you have trouble making it work.

You might want to include the .lin file you are using for others to see to be able to help.

Your shp file is not recognized. Post your dwg for someone to recreate
the shape.
