Change this .lsp text back to ascII

I have this old lisp routine that I have been using for quite a while and it works and loads just fine, however I would like to open it to see/edit the code... when I open in Notepad however it opens with wierd symbols... anyone know how to get this back into normal text?

Oliver,

This is just a guess but I suspect that you may have just renamed a vlx file as a lsp file.  You can't do that.  Find the original .LSP file.

That is a "AutoCAD PROTECTED LISP file"

This is a format to distribute your programs and codes without any concerning about your time/coding/algorithms/.....

Nobody knows the encoding algorithm except AutoDesk!

So, don't waste your time, write it yourself or buy it!

Thanks,

Abbas

It's funny how many times over the years this topic comes up. At one point attempts were being made to decompile vlx which made many folks angry. But, let us not scorn those that ask once. It has crossed the minds of several through the years.

I decoded it with autodc.exe (DOS base)

Hi Patchy,

Does it works for .FAS files too?

In the current context, the copyright blurb is rather amusing.
