Bounding Boxes around items with extrusion vector

I have 3d items exported from sketchup, that have extrusion vectors to them.

the VLA-GETBOUNDINGBOX lisp function seems to return values from the block's coordinate system.

I need values as if there was no extrusion vector, in WCS.

I am not clear on how to do this, as it seems like I want a fundamentally different box.

Is there a way to recalc the box orthogonal to world coord system for each insert of the block?

Hi,

Would you be able to post a sample drawing?

Regards,

Hello

A nice French VLisp routine ("BBOX") from Gilles (gile)

which draw a Solid 3D Boundind box around the 3D object selected ...

Maybe it could help you ?

Here is an example drawing.

I tried the French rouine, I always wondered is LISP would be more elegent in French, not much...

It did not work though.

It ran no problem, and is actually for getting bounding box in UCS I think.

I could not get it to make the right bounding box even with simple objects with no z extrusion.

I'll look at it some more to see what's up.
