Blank background for BMP export

I want the background of the window to be pure black (or white) for the export for BMP. How do I hide the grid, the coordinates, the axes and annotations, etc. ?

Have you tried laying with your Layers?

Not sure what you mean though  Smiley Happy

I have 4 layers in my drawing in addition to the 0 layer.

For BMP export, I switch off all layers except the one being exported. When I export to BMP, the drawing area's background (the light gray with grid lines and axes, etc.) is included in the drawing. I want them all gone. Just the polygons I drew should remain.

Your going to have post a picture to understand what you mean.

You can turn off the grid and the ucs off

Grid / Off

UCSICON / off

It sounds like you may need to play with your visual styles _vscurrent maybe needs to be set to 2dwireframe and your colors in options>colors  Set the Modelspace background to black or white. I just drew a white rectangle with my modelspace background color set to black and it appears just as it did on screen.

That helped.

How do I get rid of the ViewCube and the [+]|Top|2D Wireframe| annotation at the top left of the screen ?

Im PlotterManager, create a new local plotter, and select Raster File Formats for the plotter model.  A plethora of choices, including windows bmp

better control of what get's put out.
