Does anyone have a routine that will draw a insulation hatch around a circle? Thanks

I was too, which was why I ran them at least 5 times each...

What suprised me the most, though, was that as I was created the Dynamic Block
and performing QSaves, that the drawing file ballooned up at one point to over
700K. Then after I closed AutoCAD, restarted and qsaved the drawing again, it
settled in at the 280K mark.

Cool. Let me know if you need a beta tester.

Thanks,
Matt

I have a lisp that draws a hatch pattern of batt in a rectangle and I also have a lisp that draws a polyline base on a given or drawn line or pline. It can be any form u want, centered, offset to the right or the left u can retain or delete the patt after the batt is done (included in the lisp options)

Since this thread has been revived....

Subsequent to my earlier posts on this thread, I came up with the routine here:

http://cadtips.cadalyst.com/polylines/add-batting-insulation

Be sure to look at the image attached to the first comment, to see what it can do.

It still has the disadvantages I described in Message 5 here, but for times when you can live with those, it's just the thing.

I'm hunting around online for a batt lisp and so far yours sounds like what I need but the webpage is "unavailable". Help?

It may have been a temporary problem -- I just picked on the link and it came up.  But in case it has something to do with your setup rather than the webpage, here's the routine that's there, and an illustration of some of what it can do.

Perfect, thank you!
