Attached labels (DBConnect)

Hi

Does someone knows if we can update a label (dbconnect) from a saved label
over a network?

ie: I would like the ACAD users over our network to update their labels from
the one I did.

Thanks,

Martin Ares

Do you mean that you have changed the database and you want the other users to
reload the labels? That functionality is built-in, but requires the user to
make some menu picks.

Labels can be reloaded automatically when a drawing is opened, but you have to
do a little programming. See "AutoCAD Database Connectivity, Scott McFarlane,
ISBN 0-7668-1640-0, page 224.

Hi,

Actually, we changed our standards concerning the format of the labels. If
everybody is using template "A", how can everybody change to another
pre-defined template "B" without having to reassign the objects?

Humm. I don't know. You probably do it through CAO, which is documented in
ACAD-CAR.CHM in the Help subdirectory of your main AutoCAD directory.

You might also try asking the question in the autocad.connectivity newsgroup.
