I have created a company-wide template drawing and have directed it to launch at the start of AutoCAD. When creating a new drawing, using a template, I have also directed the path to the location of our template.
HOWEVER...in amending the "standard" acad.dwt file, all works fine except when I try to create a new drawing FROM SCRATCH. The settings don't show up. Where is AutoCAD getting this template...why aren't the changes to acad.dwt "taking" in the "from scratch" mode?
Any ideas? Reason for asking...we have a drawing database that automatically launches AutoCAD when creating a new drawing, and it's launching the "default" (or old, deleted) acad.dwt. From where is it getting this file?
