A question about a source of information

While searching for books on AutoLISP in Borders and Barnes & Noble I ran across the following title,
"Autolisp in Plain English: A Practical Guide for Non-Programmers/Book and Disk"
Is this book worth tracking down and getting or is it out of date and of little help for a future programmer?

1. George Head's writings helped me, I used one book, and many articles.
2. Unless there is a new release, it does not use the current vernacular, by a decade.
3. The Autolisp language is changing, some to increase its abilities, and a lot to market new sales for the same old tools.
4. The books, even older ones, are an easy way to start for beginning programming.
5. And, the internet offer many aultolisp starter sites, especially this forum.
6. And if your subject line included the book title, or mentioned books for programming then you would get more, and thus maybe better replies.

I think a trip to http://www.afralisp.net/ would be better.
