Win 2K problem with acad

Hi,
I have an application compiled previously on WinNT4 Sp5. In this application NTSVC.ocx is used to create a NTService in VB6.0. This NTService
1. Opens up an instance of acad.exe (Autocad Map 5)
2. Does some work there
3. Closes acad.exe application
4. Again opens new instance of acad.exe

When this application executes on Win NT it works fine. When It runs in Win 2K Sp4 while shutting down application XYZ, it gives out error message "the instruction at 0x77f87eeb referenced memory at 0x063507b4. Can't read memory..." After clicking OK the application again start work.

I have now compiled the whole application on Win 2K Professional Sp4 box, but the application is giving same error message on Win 2K Server Sp4. While running fine on Win 2K Professional Sp4 (Same machine on which application compiled).

Could anyone please help me out on this situation.
