Viewing AutoCAD drawings via a browser

Hi, I want to be able to let people view our drawings from the network via
Internet Explorer

is this possible and if so how do I go about it

try the whip viewer the autodesk web site. works great.

From what I can gather I would have to convert the drawings to DWF format
I don't want to do that. I would like to view the original DWG file.

Have them Download Volo View Express (free) from autodesk.com.
