BeginPlot Inconsistent Within Publish

The BeginPlot event appears to be unreliable from the Publish command. Has
anyone experienced anything like this and/or know anything about it?

From the little bit of testing I've done, it seems that the event fires from
Publish as long as it already has previously. If it has not yet been fired,
then Publish does not trigger it.

TIA

TomD,

I have also discovered that the BeginPlot (and EndPlot) events are not reliable from the Publish command. For us, it seems that the events (either BeginPlot or EndPlot) are only called for drawings that are manually added to the Publish list. The layouts in the current drawing that are already in the list when Publish is called do not fire the BeginPlot and EndPlot events when they plot. So far I haven't figured any way around this, but I saw your post and wondered if you ever came to a solution.

Thanks,
Christy

No, I haven't. We actually have a different, more severe issue with Publish
that basically makes it unuseable for the masses. The more sever issue made
that one a moot point.

Sorry I couldn't offer more. From the relatively little I know/understand
about it all, I wouldn't think there is an easy work-around. Hopefully AD
sees the thread and makes an effort. That could certainly be a huge
hinderance to an otherwise great plan.
