Functionality not added

Hello,

I installed Vault mirror and Drawing Compare from App manager.

But I do not see the right click > drawing compare option.

I installed it on client machine. Do I need to have administrative access

Is there anything wrong which I am doing

I have window 7 64 bit and Inventor 2013 - Vault basic 2013.

Thanks

Hey there,

OK, stick with me while we ask the silly questions:

1. Can you confirm that the app has installed (from Appstore manager on the Vault Explorer toolbar)?

2. Have you selected more than one file or version when you right click to compare?

If all is in order there can you let me know what version of Vault you are running (Vault Basic is not supported for this app) and operating system?

Ohh I think, I got my answer.

Vault basic 2013 is what I am using.

Are all the apps for Vault Professional/Collaboration ?

Thanks

Aha,

Its all in the fine print 🙂

Of the current apps up on store there is only 1 that lists as being compatible with Vault Basic and that's Vault Mirror. There are some limitations to what can be written on top of the Vault Basic API as well of course some product features such as user defined properties etc which explains the small number.
