Transmittal Report - Rev& state of the Parent File not its associated DWF?

Transmittal Report - Rev& state of the Parent File not its associated DWF?

Everybody expects to “SEND” the lighter weight DWF file and not the Original heavy DWG! when collaborating and sharing data!

The developers have hard coded this into the “Send File” Command within the Vault Products GREAT FEATURE! - If there is an Up-to-date DWF it will attach the DWF not the original DWG to the email. PERFECT!

HOWEVER- the transmittal Reports need to report the correct info:

It is the Original .DWG name and status / revision that should be recorded in the Transmittal By default not the name , revision and state of the actual DWF atached?

DWF files never participate in Lifecycles or have Revision Schema Applied!

The DWF file is a direct representation of the ”released “ .DWG.

By default The transmittal report should be configured to include the info & status of the Original DWG even if its the associated DWF visualisation file that is sent. SIMPLES!

Much Appreciated
