Thin client change in permissions and display

I have found that the new thin client acts slightly differently from the old web client.  In the old web client, I can configure it to not show items.  This results in the item master not being displayed.  In the new thin client, I have done the same, but I still see the item master folder.  I am told that this is because I have item permissions (logging in as an administrator).  So, I can fix this for the general user population, but not for the admins.  I would respectfully request a change be made so that the item master folder not be shown even though you have the administrator role.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark, why wouldn't the administrator be able to see the Item Master?  If the Administrator can't see the Item Master, how will he configure them in the thin client?

Hi Irvin.  Thanks for replying.  In this vault, we are not using items, so our seeing the item master folder in the thin client is unnecessary.  In the thick client, items are disabled, so we only see the project explorer under the vault itself, but in the thin client we see the project explorer and the item master folder.

Thanks,

Mark
