ItemEditor2 should be granted right to perform "Purge Item"

I'm as Vault Administrator not happy to be the only person who can purge Items.

I don't see any danger to give such right to users with "Item Editor (level 2)" role.

Please do so.

Otherwise vault administrators all over the world would invent optimal method to purge all Items on a regular basis.

...draft Item revisions block draft file versions to be purged, right?

Vault is rife with things like this. In general, there should be a role that has unconditional delete along with other management responsibilities that don't also include configuration admin roles.

I'd give you more kudos if I could...

I requested a role 'local admin'  ( search for Local Admins for every locations in this forum -- and leave a Kudo 🙂 )   what can be a user who can do a lot but not change Vault settings like life cycle, security etc. Delete files, cleanup jp queue etc can be done by this person.
