How to restrict Skip Revision Bump option

We are using Vault Prof 2013 so if this functionality is in a newer release please let me know. We would like to restrict users with Item Editor (Level 2) role permission from checking the "Skip Revision Bump" option when changing the state of the item. We tried testing with Item Editor (Level 1) but then users could not change the state of the item at all.

I would suggest adding a new role, Item Editor (Level 3) which would be the same as Item Editor (Level 2) is currently and make Item Editor (Level 2) the same as Level 3 but without access to the "Skip Revision Bump" option.

Hi John, 

Vault 2015 R2 has implemented a solution to this where we have flexible lifecycle schemes to control this facet of the lifecycle states.  Unfortunately this is not something we would be able to implement in Vault 2013.
