Custom Views per Saved Search

I have multiple saved searches that tell me different information. I need different views for each to maintain that information rather than resetting it each time I look at a different saved search.

I agree.

I think it is simple, just make the saved search folder remember my view settings in the Find dialog, so the saved search will have a saved custom view.

I agree with smilinger's idea as an easy way to implement it.

Some other ideas, but these would require saving custom views into the Vault somehow:  (which should be another ideastation entry anyways)

Another way could be:

1. Create saved search as a folder

2. Select the Saved search

3. Apply a custom view from the dropdown

4. The saved search definition is updated to remember to use the custom view.

Another way could be:

Add a setting in the Edit Custom View dialog to select a custom view to apply.

 I agree with Iqbal, why not just have the View dialog available to apply views to searches?

 Because of this restriction, our users largely ignore saved searches and just search on the fly where they can apply views.

Since 2012 until now .. no real interest in this subject ... 

Still we are encouraged to see the advantages of UDP's searches throughout the Vault but they do not deliver an easy way o seeing the actual values of the UDP inside searches! 

I found that if we look inside Vault Ideas forum there are also other related posts but none got the much needed attention from the right people!
